Today was your birthday, you were expecting to wake up beside Sanji, but you were only met by the cold air of the air conditioner. You did your daily routine, then went downstairs to the kitchen, expecting Sanji there.. Or at least, trying to make breakfast for you in the morning. Though he had made you breakfast, he wasn't home. He left with a note, 'I'll be home by 9 PM. I love you. :)'
As hours passed, it was already 9 PM, Sanji got home, just like he said. But he greets you like normally, as if he forgot your birthday.
"Love, I'm back!" He says with a condident smile, taking his coat off to place on the coat rack before running to your figure, giving you a tight hug as he didn't even notice your cold demeanor.
