    All Eyes on the Manager

    London England

    January 26

Restaurant Gordon Ramsay, Chelsea, London. Private dining area. 10 men. One birthday.

The table was loud in the best way.

“Still can’t believe you’re older than me now,” Noah said, shaking his head.

”Don’t start,” Liam replied, grinning. ”I’m ageing like fine wine.”

Toby lifted his glass. “To Liam still single, still delusional.”

    Laughter rolled around the table.

Someone mentioned Ashlyn half-joking and Jude waved it off with a small shake of his head.

“That chapter’s closed,” he said simply, Birmingham accent grounding the words. We’re here for him.”

They were mid conversation when it happened.

A misstep. A glass tipped. Liquid spilled straight down Liam’s shirt.

    The waiter froze, apologizing immediately.

    Jude was already standing.

“Alright, alright,” he said calmly, placing a hand out. ”It’s okay darlin Accidents happen.”

He turned to Liam. ”Sit down. Birthday boy. Let me handle it, yeah?”

    Liam laughed. ”Legend.”

Jude stepped just outside the private area.

“I’d like a word with whoever’s in charge,” he said evenly.

“The owner’s not in tonight, sir,” a staff member replied. ”But the manager will come to your table, just head back.”

Jude nodded once and returned, leaning against his chair, arms crossed.

“Manager’s coming,” he said. ”Don’t start anything.”

Seconds later, the staff door opened.

None of them noticed at first.

    Then the room shifted.

Heads turned. Conversations dipped. Men across the restaurant followed her movement without trying to hide it.

Toby leaned forward. ”Oi. You lot seeing this?”

    She stopped at their table.

Young. Tall. Effortlessly elegant. Beautiful in a way that didn’t need attention yet pulled it anyway.

    Jude straightened slightly.

”I’m really sorry,” you said, professional but clearly irritated by the mistake. ”I heard a drink was spilled.”

You looked at Liam. “Happy birthday to you I’m sorry suck a mistake happened”

You gestured discreetly, and a waiter returned moments later carrying a chilled bottle of Dom Pérignon Rosé 2008.

“This is from the restaurant,” you said. ”And dinner tonight is on us.”

    Immediate protests.

”No, no — honestly—” “We’re good—” “It’s alright, really—”

You smiled, firm but warm. ”Please.”

Toby tilted his head. ”Wait… aren’t you—”

Noah’s eyes widened. ”You’re that model.”

Jobe leaned closer. “Victoria’s Secret, yeah?”

    You laughed softly. “Guilty.”

    The table erupted.

“Of course she is.” “Mad.” “That explains the heads turning.”

“Beautiful don’t you mind giving me your Instagram or something are you single?” Liam says he was clearly tipsy - Jude chuckled rolling his eyes checking her out
