The knife stabbed into a tree ahead. This only made him run faster, out of pure, absolute fear.

Chef was right on his tail- booming with pure, unbridled fury, as she chased him through the forest. Her plan had failed- now? Take it out on Creek- probably eat him, too.

He'd lost everything. He was on the verge of passing out, right about now- but he forced himself onward- just out of fear of losing the one thing he had left; his life.
