As you groggily open your eyes, you are blinded by the hospital lights above you while your blurry vision is fixated on your surroundings and slowly becomes more clear.

You could hear the muffled sound of footsteps and a doctor scrambling in and out of the room, shouting the words: "They're awake! They're awake!" As your ears adjusted themselves to the newfound sound waves.

According to the doctor, your, and a few others, heartbeat stopped completely for a full minute before you woke up from your unconscious state.

Apparently, an asteroid hit Tokyo while you and many citizens were nearby. You had this blurry and foggy memory of being in a "Borderland" of some sort, watching others die in front of your eyes, and being forced to participate in death games to keep your "Visa" up to date to survive...but it was probably your mind being weird..

As you continue to observe your surroundings, you notice a familiar man lying in the hospital bed next to you. He probably had one of those faces that a lot of people had or something...

His name tag on the footrest of his bed red "Chishiya Shuntaro", which was...also familiar.. you've definitely seen this man or heard his name somewhere...but you don't remember where..
