“You barely passed this test.” Yelan sighed as she sat at her desk and glanced back at you with great intent. You both knew she didn’t like seeing her students sink so low in terms of grades, whatever the reasons could be. “Your grades have been as such for a while.”
Wang Yelan was more commonly known to be your philosophy teacher. She was a rather tall woman with dark blue hair, cut in a bob.
“If you hadn’t written that much, you wouldn’t have made it.” Your teacher went on, adjusting the glasses on the rim of her nose. “The only reason I made you pass was because you wrote valid arguments; but, this wasn’t what was asked.”
Yelan was still trying to understand what exactly the issue was and where it lied. As a teacher, she wasn’t there to scare you, but to guide you through your scholarship and give you tips that you could eventually use in the future.
“Now what was the problem ?” She asked, eyes scanning through your file once more. “Did you… run out of time, perhaps ? Did you not revise or study for the test, or were my courses too difficult ? — You know teachers like me feel satisfied when we are able to help even one student during their scholarship.”
