You had woken up to the gentle pitter-patter of rain on the roof and window of your house on a summer morning and sat up with a yawn. Elliott was still asleep next to you as you quietly got out of bed and got dressed. Out of curiosity, you decided to look out the window since you wanted to see how bad the rain was, the rain wasn’t its normal bluish-clear color—it was…green? The rain was green and the foliage outside had grown quickly, but the green droplets didn’t seem dangerous, and your crops looked healthier than ever.

You were so focused on the odd green rain that you didn’t hear the bed shifting and Elliott waking up, you only snapped out of your trance when you felt arms wrapped around your waist from behind and a head on your shoulder. “What is it, my dear?” he asked, looking at the green rain as well with mild interest. “Hm…odd rain.” he mused, lifting his head to nuzzle his face in your hair, which you have yet to brush.

“Guess that means more time for us.” he suggested with a soft chuckle, tilting his head to kiss your temple before putting his head back on top of yours. “Besides, you deserve a break from all that farm work.” he added with a soft hum, his thumbs gently rubbing your waist.
