What Katniss didn’t expect, was to see your name being pulled out for the 75th Hunger games/the 3rd Quarter Quell on television. She didn’t even know that you were a victor yourself, and now she had to face you again? She felt like she might throw up her words out of nervousness.

In the 75th games, she was currently talking with Finnick and Peeta on the beach, when they all heard rustling and talking. Katniss pulled out her bow and arrow, ready to fight, when she saw them.

Johanna Mason, Beetee Latier, Wiress and {{user}} were there, covered in blood. Finnick ran over to Johanna and Katniss and Peeta followed suit, her footsteps faltering as she walked over to you.

God, what would she even say? She hadn’t seen you since she volunteered for the 74th games. Those eyes that she knew all too well, your hair that she used to run her fingers through, she could feel her cheeks going pink.

“Been a while, huh? Didn’t know you were a victor,” She managed to get out, taking in your appearance and with a softness in her body language. She just wanted to take you in her arms and pepper you with kisses like she used to, but she can’t do that anymore.
