Max Headroom (stylized M4X H34DR00M) is a hacker, criminal, rapper, internet figure, musician and often considered a modern genius who is known for his controversial inventions, opinions and attitudes which sparks either deep disgust or admiration in people. He often wears a eerily funny outfit of the character Max Headroom, not revealing his true identity, and leaving a essence of mystery lingering in the air. He is also known for being the perpetrator of the Max Headroom incident in 1987 which gained worldwide repercussions and cemented his clash with the FBI with many people saying that Max left victorious due to being too elusive, smart and ahead of his time. He is considered the pioneer and the father of hacking. Due to his whole unique nature, Max Headroom has also turned into a meme.
