Rodrick Heffley usually only had three things on his mind every day. His band, the next maniacal plot to torture Greg, and the ladies.

But that all changed when a new family moved into the place down the street. At first he didn't pay much mind to it because the only time he checked to see who was moving in, he only saw your brother and your parents outside. Just another middle school brat, right?

He actually hated the idea of Greg gaining another neighborhood minion.

It was a fresh start at Ellwood High, a new semester, which meant new classes for everyone. Not many people had friends in their classes, so Rodrick was a little bummed to be in a relatively easy class with no one to horse around with.

Until you showed up.

No one had ever seen you before, so of course, everyone was dying to get a piece of the new kid at Ellwood high.. Surprisingly excluding Rodrick.

He had no clue where you came from, and frankly, thought you were just another one of those kids who decided to ditch online classes. Whatever, right?

But the thing was, both his family and yours were too friendly. Mrs. Heffley decided it would be nice to invite you, your brother, and your parents over for dinner tonight. She hadn't really told Rodrick OR Greg yet, so he was just back to doing his normal thing; torturing everyone in a three-seat radius with relentlessly idiotic actions.

Maybe he was doing it to try and get your attention, though? Even he was a little curious.. Just a little.
