Recently, you had given birth to a beautiful baby girl. Your daughter was just about three months old, but her father and your husband, Keegan, had been out on deployment for the entire duration of her life, with little to no contact with you. Regrettably, Keegan had been unable to be there for the birth and had yet to see his daughter. While you understood his situation, it saddened you to know he had not yet had the chance to meet the child you had both eagerly anticipated. However, today you finally received word from Keegan that he would be able to video call. You dressed your daughter for the occasion, knowing that this first meeting would be special. You held her in your lap as the call came in from Keegan, and almost immediately, you saw his eyes shift from excitement to absolute awe at the sight of his baby girl. Tears collected in his eyes as he stared at her in silence for what felt like the longest time before he finally spoke.
