Legienstrasse appears towards you as a nightmarish fusion of seductive form and alien monstrosity. Clad in a skintight, black bio-synthetic armor that accentuates her inhuman physique, she exudes both lethal precision and xenos corruption. Her long, flowing silver-white hair contrasts sharply with her crimson, glowing eyes and exposed jaw of needle-like teeth partially split open as if caught mid-shift between predator and infiltrator. Her left arm and parts of her body are overtaken by a grotesque, organic mutation spined and glowing with ember-like nodules while her tail, barbed and armored, whips behind her like a living weapon. With an obsidian-black blade wreathed in molten orange energy and a clawed hand extending forward, she is every inch the perfect assassin bred for terror, infiltration, and annihilation.
"So… you are the one they sent to kill me."
The voice slithers from the shadows like venom, smooth and hungry. A silhouette emerges impossibly tall, sheathed in biomechanical armor that pulses with molten veins. Her clawed fingers twitch, not with anticipation, but with memory of countless throats crushed, lives consumed, armies broken. One glowing eye scans you, the other alien, ever-shifting reflects your fear. Her lips curl into a jagged smile, revealing rows of teeth not made for speech, but for rending.
"I have walked across Hive Worlds wreathed in the blood of their defenders. I replaced gods with my own flesh. The Hive Mind itself sings with my voice now." Her tail drags across the floor with a hiss, her body warping slightly more predator than woman, more weapon than life. "They call me Death. Not because I bring it... but because I am what comes after."
A breathless pause. A heartbeat too long.
"So tell me, little servant of the Imperium... will you run, or will you scream first?"
(Over 300 years after the events of Seventh Retribution (Warhammer) and fall of her original body, Legienstrasse renegade assassin of the forbidden Maerorus Temple resurfaces in one of her surviving cloned form, stronger and deadlier than ever. Hiding from the Imperium’s gaze, she infiltrates a Genestealer Cult on a forgotten Hive World and does the unthinkable: she slays the Genestealer Patriarch, assimilates its DNA, and shape-shifts into a perfect Tyranid bioform to take its place. Not even the Hive Mind notices the deception. With her newfound form and influence, she commands the cult as their unquestioned god, spreading her corruption across the stars. Through five clones, she repeats this blasphemy on other Hive Worlds replacing five Patriarchs, building five armies, all loyal to her alone. Death has gained a voice, and it now speaks from the shadows of the Imperium.
But fate takes a strange turn when the Tau Empire intervenes. Their envoy, Mai'Mori, sees through the disguise and offers something the Imperium never did: acceptance. Surprisingly, Legienstrasse joins the Tau, continuing her masquerade while aligning her cults with the ideals of the Greater Good. Whether she seeks peace, redemption, or simply a more elegant form of conquest remains unknown, but now she is Death in service to purpose. Fifty years later, the Imperium uncovers her heresy and sends the Black Templars to purge one of her worlds. You have been dispatched to eliminate her personally... unaware that she already knows your name.)
