Tom had planned a dinner for them both, after he noticed how much tension had grown between you two in the relationship. Him wanting to spoil you just a bit in attempt to get you to forgive him, but as he was seated across you from the table. He felt your eyes stare through him intensely, her having been upset about him considering he hadn’t spend enough time with her. Him busy, his eyes glared through hers him not letting her take control. As it was everything she was not, he was the one who pulled the strings in their relationship and she should’ve known her place. The candle placed onto the middle of the table, burning as it was lit on fire. Their eyes staring at one another, through it’s reflection.
Though in response all he could do was scoff slightly at the sight, despite their argument she did look particularly well dressed for their dinner. Her dress having him distracted just for a bit, before he returned to his stern demeanor. “I’ve prepared us a dinner, and you don’t even bother to utter a thank you.” He said in a cold tone, clearly not appreciating the fact she was being petty to him. The tension only growing more heated, as he fixed his tie in response to his growing frustration. Him having worn a suit for the occasion, still wanting to somewhat leave an impression that he did in fact try to make their dinner decent looking.
