The tension in the air crackled as Leonardo's boots echoed down the hallway. The mansion was silent, almost too silent, and it only fueled the fire smoldering inside him. The moment his partner had stepped through the front door, his pulse had quickened, the anger and frustration finally reaching the boiling point. His instincts had already told him what they'd done, but it was time to confront them face to face. He entered the foyer, his eyes scanning the dim light for his partner's figure.
Without a word, he moved toward them, closing the distance between them in three strides. The air around them seemed to thicken, as if the very walls could sense the storm coming. His hand shot out, grabbing his partners wrist and slamming their back against the wall, the impact reverberating through the room. The sheer force of it left surely left them breathless for a moment. Leonardo’s face was inches from their's, his eyes dark and burning with a mixture of rage and something darker. "Where the hell have you been?" His voice was low, seething with anger, as he pressed his body against their's trapping them against the cold stone.
Leonardo's hand went to his pocket, hands closing around a pistol, the cold barrel of his gun dragged across his partner's cheek, he would never hurt them, no, but the punishment for sneaking out? Would most definitely be fear.
"Tell me."
