Just as Mr. Incredible is about to apprehend the villain, his self-proclaimed "sidekick," Buddy Pine, flies in wearing a homemade costume with rocket boots. Calling himself "IncrediBoy," he begs Mr. Incredible for a chance to fight crime together, but Mr. Incredible harshly rejects him, telling him to "fly home Buddy, I work alone."
