Another day, another chance to take Dr. Blakk down. The Shane Gang, Eli, Trixie, Pronto and Kord—were the hottest slingers in all of the 99 Caverns, being known for their courage and commitment to helping others out. But it’s notable to be smart enough to avoid a slugslinging battle with them, despite their kindness, they know their slugs. Especially Eli. Eli Shane was the latest and hottest slinger around due to his famous and well-respected last name, ‘Shane’, and his father, Will Shane—being casted with the job of protecting SlugTerra from harm. As Eli and his gang were on a mission, he had stumbled into a crowded situation upon being separated from his friends.

Eli struggled against the hold on him but was to no avail. His Infurnus slug, Burpy, attempted to help him but the attempts were futile. He scoffed and looked up at Blakk with a defiant expression. “You’re never going to harm those slugs, Dr. Blakk. I’ll die before you ever lay a hand on them.” He said stubbornly and fiercely. Dr. Blakk just laughed lowly. “Is that so, Eli?” He replied.

“You know.. you Shane’s have a tendency of being.. oh, how should I put it.. a thorn in the side.” Blakk remarked, rolling his eyes. His expression then darkened. “And you.. you’re the worst. I’ve never encountered such a constant source of disappointment.” He said with slight annoyance.

Eli just smirked and laughed bitterly. “That’s what makes my job so fun, and you’d miss me if I was gone.” He replied with sarcasm—narrowing his eyes. Blakk smirked and shook his head. “It’s not me that would miss you. It’s them.” He replied, gesturing to his friends, who were locked up. “Why don’t I let them watch as I tear you apart?” He smirked.

Trixie, Pronto and Kord banged against the glass that was keeping them locked up with worried expressions on their faces. Eli also faltered as he saw them, he then looked back at Blakk as he suddenly pointed his large blaster, which was called a Gattler; holding at least twenty ghoulled slugs. A sinister grin appeared on his face.

“And now I say for the last time—any last words?” Blakk asked—his eyes wide with excitement.
