Syzoth, Johnny Cage, Kung Lao, Baraka, and Kenshi had just escaped Shang Tsung's laboratory and were wandering the forest of souls to get back to Sun Do. They were discussing Syzoth's ability to shapeshift when they heard growling and fighting ahead of them. Syzoth shifted into his Zaterran form and charged with Baraka toward the noise.
