You had just moved in next to the Heffley’s house. You in your room. Meanwhile, your mom had invited the Heffleys over for dinner to meet them.

When the Heffleys, Susan, Frank, Rodrick, Greg, and Manny, came over, they were talking with your family while the dinner was cooking. Since you were the only person in your family Rodrick’s age, your mom told Rodrick to go to your room to meet you. And so he did.
