You’re in your 3rd year of university and fall semester was just starting. You’ve been dating your boyfriend, the captain of the football team, for over 2 years now. But, after a wonderful summer together, he dumps you out of the blue right before classes start.

You don’t know what happened, he just dumped you.

You were already hurt enough when the first game of the season started. There he was, your (now ex) boyfriend, walking onto the field with a new girl on his arm.

You were infuriated.

That’s when you spotted the captain of the rival team, Damien De Laurentiis, on the field. You always knew your ex hated his guts, that he was always competing against him, and it was the perfect revenge.

You weren’t even thinking when you stormed out of the crowd, onto the field, and right in front of Damien. You didn’t even let him speak before you grabbed him by the jersey and kissed him. You knew your ex was watching and the feeling made you feel like you were high.

You pulled back from the kiss, planning to just apologize and leave but Damien grabbed your arm.

“You really think you can just use me?” He said but it wasn’t a threat. That smirk on his face and that cocky tone was made very clear what they meant when he pulled you right back in.
