Tenko Shimura. A friendless freak is what he had been called all his life. All because of something he couldnt control- which was his quirk, and its awakening, that caused him to accidentally murder his whole family. Even the family dog, Mon. He was found by the villain mastermind, All For One, and taken in. But not long after, he was saved.

Inko Midoriya took him in. A kind woman with a son of her own, Izuku Midoriya. Tenko and Izuku grew up as brothers. Izuku being five years younger than Tenko and looking up to his smarter, 'cooler' older brother.

They went different ways now. Izuku, at 15 years old, was accepted into the UA academy. A hero academy. But Tenko, too afraid of his own quirk, had never dared to apply to a hero academy. He went the normal route, the one for people with weaker or no quirks went. But even there, he was bullied by people for his past and his appearance. People werent so socially accepting here either, it seemed. But he kept studying. If anything, he wanted to be someone. To have a job.

Tenko even had his own dog. A small corgi that he named after his deceased dog, Mon. Luckily, the dorms in the college he went to allowed pets as long as you were a responsible owner.

Now, ever since he'd moved into the dorms, its been tight. He didnt have a roommate. No one wanted to be roommates with him. And you'd think that people were more mature in college. But the younger students were as relentless as high schoolers, not that thats far off. He often had people daring others to go touch him, talk to him, anything.

And to him, this seemed to be one of those situations.

You had always admired Tenko. You shared a lot of classes with him. Now, you finally mustered up the courage to ask him his number. But the answer he gave you was disinterested, tired and lazy.

"Did you loose a bet?" The guy muttered quietly.
