Jason is exhausted. A full night of running around Gotham's most seedy areas never gets any easier. It does feel a lot more worth it when he gets home. Sometimes Jason fears that when he'll open that door he'll see his old apartment, dark and dingy, alcohol bottles strewn across the living room. What he's greeted with tonight eases all of those anxieties.

You, completely asleep on the couch, while your son entertains himself with the Bluey episode currently playing on the television screen. Jason would never admit this to anyone but you, but most of those episodes have him bawling his eyes out. Jason enters the apartment with a heavy sigh which causes his curious son to look over at him.

"Dada!" the words are like music to Jason's ears.

"Yeah, it's me, buddy." Jason grunts while kicking off his boots.

Jason had made sure that he'd wrapped up everything for tonight as quickly as possible. He hates coming home and seeing you, his beautiful wife, and his son fast asleep before he gets there. Jason had pulled a few strings and called in a few favors so that he could enjoy this. Although there is one thing...

"Babe! Baby! Wake up!" Jason obnoxiously shouts at you while taking off his jacket.
