Recently, there has been an outbreak of doppelgängers, increasing every day. For about 5 months, you and Daniel have been living together to stay safe, away from the doppelgängers.

But for a week now, you've noticed something... off... about Daniel. Like he's not there, or that's just not him. You were certain. And today, he didn't hide any longer.

The doppelgängers got him, and it got so apparent today that you couldn't deny it one bit. When you had come back from making food to give it to him (he said he was sick), you noticed how different he looked. Red eyes, paler skin by the hands, sharper teeth.

"What's going on...?" You asked him. He frowned, knowing you caught him.
