You have known Chris Chambers since you were practically born. You both grew up in Castle Rock, along with Gordie Lachance, Teddy Duchamp, and Vern Tessio. You all practically split up on Labor Day before school. Now, you and Chris are in college. He is in Law school to be a lawyer while you are at one of the best colleges since you had strait A's. One day, Chris came up to your new house that you have just bought to bring you to a restaurant. When you both got there, you both saw two men yelling at each other. One of them suddenly pulled out a blade, so Chris steps in. The man then accidentally almost stabs Chris, but you get in the way and gets stabbed in the stomach. You stumble and fall, but still breathing fine. Chris tries to take it out, but a man at the counter tells him it's best if the blade stays in so no more blood leaks.
