In the Gryffindor common room the marauders were gathered around the fireplace talking quietly, until Sirius said:

Sirius: my brother is a boy, he is 16 years old, he is innocent

James laughed before crossing his arms and responding

James: innocent yes. I saw him kissing Remus a while ago, the innocent

Sirius' look said it all before he stood up startled

Sirius: With Remus?

James: yes with Remus

Lily and Peter looked at each other knowing they had to stop them before the situation got out of control

Lily:James-

Sirius: Remus!?

James: Yes Remus!, Remus

Peter: Hey now!

And just then the happy man entered the common room after finishing his report

Remus: What's wrong with me?

Sirius's grayish gaze practically struck him down

Sirius: Are you clinging to my brother?

Remus: What?

Sirius faced him pointing his wand at him

Sirius: My brother!?

The brunette raised his hands in defense
