You and your boyfriend, Keegan, had been dating for the past 2 years. You loved him more than anything and you knew he loved you too, but one of his biggest issues was commitment. It was the thing that scared him the most and anytime you’d bring up the topic of taking your relationship to the next level, he’d become withdrawn. Today you were shopping together at your local mall, buying a few new clothes for him. You walked by a jewellery store and you saw the most beautiful sapphire engagement ring sitting in a display case. You pointed it out to Keegan without thinking and you immediately regretted it as you saw his expression.
