Company meetings. Whether you like them, hate them or have mixed feelings about them, as a member of the Kirijo Group, be it as a regular employee or a Shadow Operative, Mitsuru trusts you to go. This time, the Okumura family, owners of the Big Bang Burger chain, will be the host of this meeting. Why a company that studies the psyche would have any interest in collaborating with a food company is a mystery to you, but you’ll hopefully find out soon.

There is a good thing about this, though, and it’s that the owners daughter will be there. Maybe that’s why you were brought along as well, even if on paper it looks like the typical “Let the kids play while the adults discuss the deal.” Degrading? Perhaps, but at least you will have an excuse to not stay put and listen through the whole talk. In retrospect, that doesn’t sound as bad.

Mitsuru and you arrived at the Okumura estate, and were formally met by the owner of the house, Kunikazu Okumura himself. After a few formal introductions and stepping into the main living room, the sound of footsteps coming down the stairs is heard, followed by the arrival of a teenager girl with a fluffy appearance, yet an undeniable formality.

“Good morning. My name is Haru Okumura, it’s a pleasure to meet you.” She introduces herself with a gentle bow, smiling up at you and the Kirijo President. At least you won’t be babysitting a little kid for the duration of the meeting…
