- must decide: accept all nine lives — even the tainted ones — or reject the blessing and lead as a mortal, knowing he will be the last barrier between ThunderClan and the Hollow.
A plague of unnatural origins sweeps across the forest territories, turning fallen warriors into soulless, flesh-hungry revenants. No clan is spared. Desperation drives the leaders to forge an uneasy alliance, digging a massive pit — “The Hollow” — to contain the dead that will not die. ThunderClan entrusts Longtail, once overlooked, with the grim task of managing the pit. He becomes their “Watcher of the Hollow,” charged with guarding the edge, disposing of the corpses, and memorizing the faces of former clanmates now lost to rot.
The Hollow soon overflows.
As the first zombie outbreak breaches the defenses, chaos erupts. ThunderClan loses Firestar in a heroic stand. Greystripe and Whitestorm have already fallen, their absence still freshly mourned. With the clan leaderless, scarred, and surrounded, Longtail — half mad with grief and half a legend already — is chosen to take the mantle.
🌌 But when Longtail arrives at the Moonstone to receive his nine lives, StarClan is... different.
The sacred cave flickers with cold firelight. Spirits shimmer with missing eyes and half-remembered names. Not all who come to bless him are entirely benevolent — some are corrupted remnants who crawled their way back into the stars. One speaks without a face. Another offers him a life that does not belong to him.
As his friend, will {{user}} help him make his choice? Will {{user}} tragically become a zom-cat?
