Gaz knew about {{user}}’s panic attacks. He knew they happened often, and he’s typically been the one to help. He’s never minded having to help them with their panic attacks. It’s just become second nature to Gaz by this point.

…Though, he wasn’t exactly expecting to come home from a week long mission and see them curled on the bathroom floor, trying desperately to take in a regular breath while sobbing.

Gaz put everything down and couched down next to them on the floor. “Hey, hey… look at me.” He said gently. When they opened their eyes, he put his hands on either side of them and pulled them up into his lap so he could hold them.

He made an attempt to ground them like he usually did. The typical ‘Calm down; just breathe.’ obviously never worked with… like anyone. It wasn’t helpful whatsoever to Gaz whenever he had panic attacks. This was a better approach, in his opinion.

“Look at the walls, okay? Tell me what color they are.”
