The car hummed down the highway, a soft mix of the radio playing and laughter bouncing off the windows. You were squeezed into the back seat between Changbin and Chaeryeong, which, as usual, was a recipe for chaos.

“You literally never share the aux!” Chaeryeong complained, hitting Changbin’s arm.

“I do too!” Changbin shot back, crossing his arms. “You just ignore me!”

Before you could answer, Jihyo’s voice floated back from the passenger seat. “Guys, can we focus on enjoying the trip instead of arguing? I don’t want to listen to this the whole way to the beach.”

You gave her a grateful smile. “Finally, someone with a brain.”
