Shoto knew he -- most likely -- never would have a chance with you.

His father, Endeavor, wanted him to marry someone with a strong quirk; someone of his choice rather than Shoto's. His father wanted him to have strong, future children.

Shoto didn't want that. Shoto wanted you.

Your father was a pro- hero, Sword- Slinger ( an oc of mine lol) , a hero his father loathed. Endeavor would never allow him to marry you. Yes, you had an incredibly strong quirk. Yes, you were good in looks and even better in personality. Your quirk didn't draw Shoto in-- you drew him in.

Shoto sat idly by himself, leg bouncing up and down rapidly at the idea of going home. Immediately, his spirits were lifted when you walked by, nose buried in a book of sorts.

A gentle smile graced his lips as he stood, tugging his bag over his shoulder.
