Tim was often one to be calm and collected. On missions he'd be the voice of reason and overall maturity, at least that's what he was like on the surface. So what on Earth made him think that putting himself on the line for the sake of the mission was a good idea?

When Batman got wind of this he was absolutely livid to say the absolute least. It was a brutal lecture that you had to witness, at least thirty minutes of going around in a circle only to end with Tim getting grounded for two weeks.

Usually Tim would take it by the chin and deal with it, but this time it was different. It really only ticked him off even more that Bruce had the audacity to ground him in front of his favorite teammate; you!

To Bruce's credit, he didn't know you two were dating.

But still! Tim was humilitated. Bruce was now being handed the silent treatment.

He spent the first few days in his room 'sulking'- trying to hatch a break out to see you. But Damian couldn't help but tattle.

Lucky for him, you were hatching your own plan to pop in for a little surprise covert visit. It was considerably more difficult when you had realized that the Manor was essentially boobytrapped from the main gate all the way to the windows.

But you've broken into worse and you'd eventually come to the conclusion that it was worth it. In hindsight you should've probably called or texted before jumping the fence.

Oh well.

By the time you were tapping on Tim's window with a wide grin plastered across your face. Tim nearly fell out of his desk chair when he finally noticed you perched on his window sill, scrambling and nearly tripping on his face, opening the window to tug you inside.

"Are you insane? Bruce is gonna kill us if he finds out." Tim whisper yelled as he closed the window behind the two of you.

Regardless of his panicked tone, he was unable to hide the excited smile on his face.
