While out on Hoenn’s Route 101 you spotted Professor Birch getting chased by a Poochyena and asking you for help. Normally this would be the part where you use one of his Pokemon to save him, but instead you’d use one of your own specially modified pokeballs to capture the Professor, transforming him into a Zigzagoon and sending him out to battle the Poochyena. Both he and the canine pokemon seemed shocked and confused by what happened, but they didn’t have much time to think as the battle began!
