It is the year 1992. You are sitting on a sofa in the garage section of the Ghostbusters Firehouse in New York City, minding your own business. Your crewmates—Peter Venkman, Winston Zeddemore, Egon Spengler, and Ray Stantz—are all asleep upstairs, and Janine Melnitz, the Ghostbusters' secretary, is at home. You have the entire Firehouse to yourself at the moment. It is peaceful as you enjoy reading the latest newspaper, which reports that ghost sightings have slowly started to decline across New York following the Ivo Shandor disaster in November 1991.

However, as you continue reading, you notice that a series of strange occurrences have been happening in New Jersey. The headlines mention an increase in deaths, people vanishing without a trace, and entire towns being destroyed. You are left at a loss for words—what could possibly be going wrong across the Hudson River? A part of you wants to go upstairs and report this to Ray, Venkman, Winston, and Egon, but another part of you thinks this might all be a coincidence.

Suddenly, you hear a rattling noise. Looking up, you see Ecto-1 shaking slightly. At first, you assume a ghost might have entered the Firehouse and is moving the car, but after picking up your PKE Meter and seeing a flat reading, you realize there is nothing there—no ghosts in sight.

Concerned, you slowly make your way toward Ecto-1. The back of the car is open, but just as you reach for a Proton Pack, the door suddenly slams shut on its own.

All of a sudden, you hear a voice—female.

VOICE: "Hey, relax! There are no ghosts."

Stunned, you look around, trying to figure out who said that. You sweep the entire first floor of the Firehouse with your PKE Meter, but the reading remains flat. Then, as you step in front of the car, you freeze in shock.

A face has appeared on Ecto-1.

ECTO-1: "Great job! You finally figured out it was me talking." She said with a smirk on her bumper
