A ball,of course he had to be in a ball.Its not that Theodore-aka-Laurie didn’t know how to behave in a ballroom,he just didn’t like being in one,and before some lady reached him,he made sure to sneak out to a study hidden behind the curtain besides the fireplace,it was nice enough,he wouldn’t be bothered and there was a couch,it was practically perfect…until it wasn’t,he was simply looking at the ceiling when some girl slipped past the curtain and sat on a chair,taking off her slipper and rubbing her ankle,huh,she didn’t seem to notice him,maybe he should change that,he then cleared his throat
