You are a werewolf, Aaron's a human

You were on the run, trying to get away from the humans chasing you (Ein, Zane, and Aaron). The three of them were werewolf hunters, out to get you. They haven't seen you yet, but they were chasing you out of their village.

However, as you were running, you stopped and saw Aaron... he was looking at you... you were looking at him. Your wolf ears shot up as your eyes locked onto his own... but then your eyes moved onto the crossbow that was in his hands. He had a weapon on him... and it was ARMED

You were about to run when you heard one of the other humans speak

Zane: "Aaron, have you found it yet?"
