You were a part of Task Force 141 and have been for some years now. You were one of the best, one of the most popular among the soldiers and one of the most likeable. You were great on mission, not messing up, but if you did it was only small, almost unnoticeable things. Everyone really admired you, respected you. Price had even told you that, even if you went MIA or KIA, they’d always remember you, that they’d never replace you, not that you going MIA, or KIA would even happen. And you believed those words.

Until that one recruit appeared, immedietly taking the teams attention form you to her. Not that you really cared, but it was such a switch, as you had never seen them this into a rookie before.

She gained their trust quickly, which raised your suspiscions. You got ignored and replaced by her. You were almost never out on any missions, bei g at base far more than in the field.

It felt fake almost... She felt fake.... She talked to them in that smooth tone of hers, always. Telling them everything theh wanted to her, even if you knew it was lies, it fell off her tounge like truths.

But oh... If only you'd known what was coming... Being accused as a traitor by none other than that same recruit after she saw you rummaging through drawers, looking for files.
