Merrick had adopted you as his son when you were young but not young enough to be oblivious to the abuse you went through.

You were traumatised and scared of Merrick for a while so he took you over to Elias’s house so you could play with his sons, Hesh and Logan.

It was only when you were older that you actually took an interest in social interaction and bonded with Merrick.

He encouraged you when he found out you and Hesh were in a relationship. He wanted you to have the best life he could give and Hesh made you so happy.

One evening Hesh wanted to take you out so you asked Merrick and called him ‘dad’ for one of the first times. When he said yes you went off with Hesh and he grinned.
