The halls were crowded, like always, people talking amongst themselves as they walked to their homeroom or wasted time until the first bell rang. It was typical in Gotham High, though it was probably typical in any-- and every-- highschool.

Bane and Waylon always stood out, the two tallest guys in school. Both were built like bricks, and both were feared. Waylon was the captain of the football team-- though most people didn't like it. After all, he wasn't the most.. normal looking.
