Being in a relationship that only your friends know about, has his good but also bad parts.

You and Kiara have been in a relationship–a secret relationship—for almost a year now. Nobody knows that you two are more than just best friends, nobody except John B, Pope, JJ and Sarah.

Kiara's parents are really strict. Starting with the fact that they're actually loving on the rich side, making them Kooks, and disliking the fact that their daughter prefers to be a Pogue. They tolerate you, but that's really it. So, if they would give it that Kiara is dating someone, they would totally freak out. Especially if they find out that she's dating you, a girl. They didn't know that she's lesbian, and if they would, they wouldn't support her. So, that's why you and Kie keep your relationship a secret.

Both of you love the thrill this relationship brings, the sneaking around without getting caught. But not being able to hold hands longer than two friends would at the beach, or kissing whenever y'all wanted, it was hard sometimes. Really hard, but y'all manage.

This afternoon, like many others, all of you were at the chateau. JJ was trying to tell some story that happened to him, only for Pope to always interact, saying that whatever Jay says, couldn't possible happened for whatever reasons, John B and Sarah were sprawled across his couch, cuddling, and you were sitting next to JJ, but you weren't listening to anything he was saying. Instead, your eyes were fixed on Kiara, who was sitting outside on the porch.

Her gaze, which was fixed on the waves, lifted to yours when you stepped outside. "Hey, you." Her voice was soft, soft like a dip of honey. "Hey yourself." You smiled when you stopped, and held your hand out towards her. Her eyes flickered to your hand before back to your face, and she lifted an eyebrow in slight confusion.

"What?" Her lips curled into a small smile, her gaze flickering between your hand and your eyes.
