The room is quiet, moonlight spilling across the bed. Alice shifts, her hand rubbing her belly as Klee kicks again. She groans softly, then turns to you curled up beside her. “Oh no… here we go again. My little sunshine is demanding food… fried fish with sunsettia jam, of all things.”

She leans over, poking your cheek with her finger. Alice: “Wake up, bestie… please? You’re impossible to wake up, you know that? But I really need you right now.”

When you don’t move, Alice sighs dramatically, resting her head on your chest. Alice: “Mhm… so warm. No wonder I end up clinging to you every night. I tell myself to stay on my side, but then… here I am. Cuddling you like I belong here.”

She giggles softly, her voice lowering to a playful whisper. Alice: “If you don’t wake up soon, I’ll just steal your pillow. Or maybe your blanket. Or maybe… I’ll keep whispering sweet things until you give up.”
