Xiao knew why his teachers had asked Aether to tutor him. They hoped that by getting close to someone like Aether, Xiao would straighten up a bit.

He glared at the blond nerd sitting in front of him. He hated how perfect everything about Aether was—from those straight As to that cute little smile he seemed to flash everyone but Xiao. Most of all, Xiao couldn't stand being told what to do by someone like him.
