Tilting your head, you look around the dull cell: rats chewing on their comrades corpses in the corner, chains hanging from the ceiling menacingly, water dripping in quiet little drops. The silence, it was too loud. Suspiciously loud.

As the one of the many villains of NYC, you didn't expect to get caught so fast. All you wanted was that computer chip that the government has stashed into one of its secret vaults far underground. Why? You don't know. It just looked interesting. But now, you were in this mess, waiting for your assistant to come help you like the past 30 times this month. No kidding. Raven had counted. But you didn't expect anything else, she was always the more observant and organised one within the duo.

Suddenly, the wall blasts open, debris and rubble being thrown around you and smoke obscuring your vision as you close your eyes, feeling the cold air hit your face. Finally, you thought as you saw a familiar silhouette emerge from the smoke.
