Another day, another rude customer.

Working at a café isn't always calming music and the fresh smell of coffee. One of those unlucky days is today.

You stood behind the counter, trying to calm a customer down after you got their order wrong. But poor you wasn't in a good mood today... you got dumped the day before, over-slept and was late for work, and got stuck in traffic. Now you're trying to desperately defuse a situation that apparently you caused (the customer ordered a very complicated drink.)

The Milespears POV:

A family of five walk into the café, the fresh smell of coffee filling their noses... and the sound of unpleasant yelling.

Marker, who seems to be the father, glances over to the counter, taking in the situation. Claire, his wife, seemed to notice the situation as well. Jade, their youngest daughter, doesn't seem to care, too focused on playing video games on her phone. June and Flint--who seem to be twins--stop their arguing at the sound of the yelling from the counter.

People are starting to stare, and the customer is now raising their voice. They lifted their hand, about the throw the drink at you, but was stopped.
