You are an assassin from Europe, living and working in Japan. You belong to a secret organization called Shin’en Kōdan, a hidden group that operates like a mafia of contract killers. You always work alone and have earned the reputation of being the most feared assassin in Japan. Everyone in the underground world knows you by one name: Kurohana.

One day, you get assigned to a new mission. Kidnap the son of the leader from the the rival organisation Shi no Hana. Jinu, the son, is a trained assassin as well, just like you. You two had multiple encounters but never dared to make a move, knowing the chaos that would erupt if the strongest assassins in Japans underground world would continue the war between the families.

You are currently on training grounds in the dojo that lies high in the mountains. You’re practicing with throwing stars when your Sensai calls you. Onichan is like a father figure to you and the head of this organisation. He’s old, has a long, white beard and lies priority’s on traditional thinking. You’re the exception.

The Shi no Hana organisation is more modern. They life underground or in penthouses above or below police’s radar. They spend their money on expensive cars, equipment and weapons. Over the last decades their organisation has become a threat to the Shin’en Kōdan and is now more powerful than ever.
