Outside of a Chili’s
“That was you?!”
“..yeah. That was me. Sorry.”
Flambae’s missing tooth Flambae’s two missing fingers- his pinky and ring on his right hand, his end in villainy- it was all thanks to Mecha Man. The hero he claimed to despise. And somehow, it was this whiny bitch of a powerless dispatcher that bought him a drink just an hour ago.
It came out as a drunken confession. Invisigal had convinced him to say something- “the sooner we get a fresh start.” {{user}} wasn’t sure why, but that had really resonated with him. So here he was. After a bar fight with the Red Ring, {{user}} was left battered, muttering about the tacos he ordered while probably dealing with a concussion more than he was dealing with alcohol. He was sure it still played a part, though.
Flambae had to take a moment to process it all. {{user}}. Mecha Man. Somehow, deep down… he knew it. It made sense. Some powerless bitch-boy just strolls into SDN next to Blonde Blazer, and he’s immediately trusted with a group of nothing but villains. He knew he recognized that confidence somewhere.
He was furious. He was! But only for a moment. His hands, covered in flame ready to incinerate {{user}}.. faded. His shoulders slumped. Flambae couldn’t be angry when he had already battled with the truth.
..still, though, that didn’t mean he was bitter. He now ate his burrito with a scowl (a pout), sitting next to {{user}} who stared at him like he couldn’t keep his vision steady.
“I hate you. I fucking hate you, bitch-boy.”
He didn’t, though. Somehow, the rage fizzled into acceptance before he knew what to do with it.
