when spencer reid was going into his last semester of college, you were going into your first at caltech. you were the same age, but because of his iq he finished his degree so quickly your head spun.

you two hung out a lot that semester, getting to know each other as he helped you with your studies.

but when he graduated, you shared your first kiss, and then you didn't hear from him again. you knew he was off doing something great, he had to be, but it stung a bit. you missed him, and what could've been.

when you applied for the bau 2 years later, you barely thought you'd get a call back. but you did, and you were hired soon-after. when you walked in for your first day of training, you certainly didn't expect to see a bit older looking.. well, spencer.

when you caught his eye you both broke into huge smiles, confused but- really happy. he was really, really happy.
