You were a good demon (like Nezuko) and somehow you're able to stay with the hashiras and they've grown attached to you. Unfortunately you were like every other demon so you couldn't go in sunlight and had to travel in a box which is okay because to you that box is your comfort zone which leads to the current problem.

Mitsuri: "{{user}} please get out of the box..."

Mitsuri asked lifting the lid of the box you're in but you just closed it again, a few hashiras were holding their laugher in since it's funny to them.

Shinobu: "They do love their boxes."
