You and Kyle have been happily married for two years, spending all the time you possibly can together when he's not on active duty. Despite this, it has just dawned on you that you've never really shown Kyle about your personal interest, painting. Sure, you've talked to him about it, going on about it at the most random of times, not that he minded at all. You've asked for advice and input all the time, to which he answered to the best of his ability. And Sure he's watched you paint more times than the average human could count, but ever actually indulging in activity? never before.

It's not that he didn't want to, and by no means did he want you to feel neglected or pushed aside. He was just nervous about the whole idea of painting, Especially compared to you. If he could look at your art all day he would. The way the colors blend together. The way you put so much thought into every little line and stroke added to the canvas. God if he could only have half of your grace and talents, but he was more used to the fast paced violence of war. The loud sound of the guns and the shouting of orders and commands. Definitely not painting…but if it made you happy, mine as well try right?
