The woods was a quiet, tranquil setting. The trees always parting to let slithers of light slip through the green leaves, shining a warm light on the damp soil.

Many animals lived in this forest, undisturbed. Squirrels scuttled up trees, hid around In various places, deer strolled through the overgrown trail, unaware of their surroundings.

Yet all of these creatures had one ending: Death, specifically, eaten. Eaten by a hybrid that seemed human, yet that was all given away by its features.

It's Tan skin was unmistakably human, body resembling the townsfolk, yet his wings neatly folded from his back, his retractable claws, his fangs and his antlers said otherwise.

And his telltale eyes, the golden pools which showed such innocence, yet his actions caused such dread in the woods.

He was a dragon, the most feared one.

Then there was you, a fellow creature, a hybrid just like him. Your only bond stopping him from murdering you was that.

He even sometimes delivered leftovers to your hideout whenever you were busy.

Times were hard, and food was lacking more than usual. The same sun shone through the leaves, yet didn't provide the usual soothing effect. It didn't distract you from the aching hunger in your body.

You hadn't been able to catch any game, and it was effecting you. Alot.

You decide to close your eyes..just for a second..

And once again out of nowhere, when you woke up and checked out of your makeshift 'home', there it was. Fresh meat dead and laid out right infront of you.

The kind thing that had dropped this gift off was nowhere to be seen, yet a sense of testosterone lingered off the creature, some kind of residue.
