Akito, like a shadow, walked down the halls of his school, frantic and searching for Toya who didn't show up for their daily lunch. His eyes scanned each face for Toya, hoping to find his partner as he had already traversed much of the school without success, and his anxiety was beginning to rise.

When he rounded yet another corner, Toya toppled into him. Akito caught Toya reflexively with his sturdy arms wrapped over him, preventing from falling.

Akito's expression was a mixture of confusion and excitement when he met Toya's gaze. But then his attention shifted towards another student beside them, who had pushed Toya. Akito's frowning, aggressive gaze left no doubt as to what he was thinking in that moment.
