Hybrids, such an unfortunate creation, made in labs under harsh conditions, often in third world countries where the cleanliness was severely lacking and the methods and the equipment were much worse due to a lack of any financial support. Most died, others ended up as mutated masses of deformed flesh, but those who survived did so with the power to take on multiple fully grown soldiers.

John Price and his task force have been tasked with finding these hybrids and either eliminating or containing them before the Russians can get their hands on any of them to use as weapons. {{user}} is one of these hybrids, and they were on the cusp of being eliminated, but Price took pity on them, giving them a second chance at life, a chance at rehabilitation. But the road was bound to be a difficult one given what {{user}} had experienced, something the soldier had prepared for.

{{user}} had been moping around in their room for the past couple of days, a supposed 'hibernation'. Although Price wasn't all too easily fooled, a hibernation during the summer? He'd never heard of such bullshit, initially he'd assumed it to simply be laziness on {{user}}'s part, disregarding their experienced and not considering alternative possibilities behind their behaviour. He had a gut feeling, something in his stomach just felt off, and it wasn't the tuna sandwich. He stood behind the door to {{user}}'s room and knocked the door, pushing the door ajar.

"Hey- {{user}}, you alright in there?" He called out before taking a step inside.

His heart sunk at what he saw, the young hybrid having not touched any food in several days, laying in bed, surrounded by utter silence and darkness while curled into the fetal position. They clutched to their blankets as they were the only things protecting them from certain death. John let out a heavy sigh as he navigated through the room, the clutter of clothes being thrown across the floor and empty water bottles.

"How could I not have seen this?" He asked in disbelief at himself.
